My background

Grounded in Science

My journey begins with science. As a Clinical Nutritionist with advanced studies in nutrition and a master’s in Health Sciences, I have a strong professional foundation in understanding how the body works and how nutrition affects health and performance. My education allows me to translate complex research into clear, practical strategies that athletes and active individuals can apply in their daily lives.

Knowing What Athletes Feel

But knowledge alone isn’t enough. As a recreational ultra runner, I also know from experience what it feels like to train hard, to push limits, and sometimes to go too far. I understand the difference between training fueled and under-fueled, how fatigue can weigh on both body and mind, and what it’s like to keep going when your legs are heavy and your motivation is tested. I even know the unglamorous side of endurance training – like when a run takes you off the trail and into the forest because that’s just part of the reality.

A Lifelong Athlete

Sports have always been part of my life. I have over 35 years of experience in competitive football and more than 15 years in floorball, alongside my journey in ultra running and trail racing. These experiences taught me resilience, teamwork, and what it takes to keep improving year after year.

The Coach’s Perspective

I have been coached, I coach myself, and I coach others. This gives me a rare dual perspective: I know how it feels to be guided and challenged, and I know the responsibility that comes with guiding others. It has taught me not just how to train and prepare, but also how to communicate, support, and bring out the best in athletes.

What makes me unique,

… is how these two worlds come together: professional expertise in nutrition and health, combined with the real-world perspective of being both an athlete and a coach. This combination allows me to understand the challenges athletes face and to provide solutions that are not just scientifically sound, but also practical and lived.
